This is a story which pass in Mississippi which is a place in America.In this story there is a girl who’s name is Emily. She had a father who did not give any permission to his girl to go out or talk with other people. She is angry to his father because of this behavior. Some day her father dead but still she can not go outside because staying in home will be a behaviour for her so she always stay in home. Some time later she love a black man and want to marry him but she came from a rich family and she is white so this makes a big problem and because of this, people in town do not want her to live with them. In this story we see racism at past in America. I think this is a good story which portrait America in the past.
